After several months of being away and on a self imposed hiatus due to a very busy schedule, I am back and itching to write new blogs again and what a better way I think is to start off is with an entry about a new tourist attraction that is slowly making it presence felt in  the social media and in Philippine tourism. May I proudly present to you the Santorini version of the municipality of La Trinidad-STOBOSA HILLSIDE HOMES ARTWORK.
The latest attraction which is located at Barangay Balili, La Trinidad was unveiled last June 2016 and is actually a part of Department of Tourism’s “REVBLOOM” campaign. REVBLOOM which means Revitalize and Bloom is an urban rehabilitation tourism campaign that intends to overhaul tourism eyesores back to its charming and pleasant state. And one of its project is to turn the once decrepit pile of houses into a gigantic mountainside mural a la Santorini of Greece.

Kudos to DOT, BOYSEN Paints and the house owners for a splendid job in making the houses colorful and attractive and for adding another attraction in the Municipality of La Trinidad (aside of course from the ever famous Strawberry Farms) that the people of the Cordillera could be proud of.
STOBOSA HILLSIDE HOME ARTWORK is located between the boundary of the Municipality of La Trinidad and the City of Baguio along Barangay Balili. It is just 10 minutes away from the central business district of Baguio City and 15 minutes away from the Strawberry Farms. Bell Church is just a couple of steps away from STOBOSA. From Baguio City, one can take jeepneys plying the Baguio-La Trinidad route and they have their terminals at the back of Baguio Center Mall along Magsaysay Avenue and infront of Baguio City Hall near Burnham Park. Fare is P8.50 and just tell the driver to drop you off at STOBOSA or at KM. 1 La Trinidad. One can also take a cab from Baguio City to STOBOSA. Taxi fare would be approximately between P50.00 to P60.00 depending on the traffic situation.
STOBOSA is on our City Tour itinerary. For details and rates of our City Tour, please leave your message here.
