With the rising demand on buying properties as a goal for many people, especially in Baguio city, we’ve tried to understand and learn more about the concerns and questions of real estate buyers. Real estate brokers in Baguio have picked up some of the most pressing concerns in the atmosphere recently, one of which is some misconceptions or misunderstandings on how real estate brokers in Baguio work. When people come in buying condos in Baguio, or house and lots in Baguio, these buyers tend to veer away from real estate brokers because of the following two misconceptions.

  • Dealing with real estate brokers bumps up the real estate price

This is a big misconception.   • Real estate brokers can easily be bypassed because their work is easy

People who seek to purchase house and lots in Baguio think that the job of a real estate broker can easily be done by the buyers themselves. However, both real estate brokers and real estate agents in Baguio, or anywhere else here in the Philippines, take a full 4-year course in order to officially get that title. It is not as easy as most people think of it to be. After taking that extensive 4-year course, they take a board exam in order to get the official real estate license. You can liken it to those professions who also need to get licenses such as nurses, physical therapists, etc. This is why real estate buyers should not just belittle their brokers, the job is learned through many courses and years. Finding the best properties with best deals is not as easy as it seems.

The problem some people may be thinking of in the back of their head is that what if this licensed real estate broker has a bad record or bad history. But, just like the other professions mentioned above, real estate brokers who do have their license can also experience having them revoked, if they commit acts that are not improper. This is why you can be assured that if you are dealing with a licensed real estate broker, you can be sure that they are credible. ​
